Langenfeld, 17 August 2026. The Langenfeld SPD requested a special meeting of the construction and transport committee to address the missing resolution on traffic routing for the Ara project.
Missing Resolution
The construction and transport committee has not yet passed any formal resolution on traffic routing. As a result the planning committee postponed the amendment to the land-use plan. A standstill in the planning process is now imminent.
SPD Demand
The SPD wants the matter clarified quickly. Without a decision from the construction and transport committee the procedure cannot move forward. The group therefore calls for a special session before the next regular meeting.
