The city of Langenfeld is once again calling for nominations for its Environmental Prize this year. The award recognizes citizens, clubs or companies that show exceptional commitment to environmental and climate protection.
Application Deadline and Award Process
Applications can be submitted until the end of September 2026. A jury reviews all projects and proposals. The Planning, Environment and Climate Committee then selects the winners. The official ceremony will take place at the New Year’s Reception 2027.
Mayor Gerold Wenzens will personally present the prize. The Environmental Prize comes with a 1000-euro endowment.
