On June 25, 2026, the Langenfeld city administration announced the launch of a comprehensive citizen participation process for the further development of the downtown area. The goal is to sustainably increase the attractiveness of the city center.
Background and Objectives
The plans include measures for traffic calming, expansion of green spaces, and improvement of the quality of stay. The administration refers to the integrated urban development concept adopted in 2025.
