Step-by-step guide for the funding application at the city of Langenfeld as of July 2026.
The funding application for clubs in Langenfeld requires form version 4.2 on the municipal website. Open https://www.langenfeld.de/foerderung(öffnet in neuem Tab) and download the PDF.
Step 1: Enter club data. Use Acrobat Reader DC 2025. Provide name, registered office and member count. Without this step the city rejects the application on receipt.
Step 2: Write project description. Use LibreOffice 25.2 for the text file. Limit to 800 words maximum. Missing the file, the application returns as incomplete.
Step 3: Create cost breakdown. Calculate with Excel 2024 Home & Student. Enter only amounts backed by invoices. Skip this step and the review takes at least eight weeks longer.
Step 4: Upload evidence. Scan with Epson Scan 3.9 and upload the PDF to the portal. Without the 2025 bank statement the application is not processed.
Step 5: Submit the application. Click “Send” in the portal. The server issues an incoming number. Forgetting this click means no confirmation and a restart.
Step 6: Check payment receipt. Log in again after 14 days. The city transfers a maximum of 4500 euros per project according to the 2026 budget plan. Many applications fail here because the club entered the wrong IBAN.
