3200 Euro Net Loss After Transporter Accident in Langenfeld

Initial situation

Rental transporter for five days came to 680 euros. Appraisal and towing service amounted to 920 euros. Insurance covers 85 percent after a 500-euro deductible. Net own share therefore stands at 1420 euros.

Lost revenue

16 person-hours at 48 euros equal 768 euros. Another 320 euros are added for one cancelled order taken over by a competitor. Total lost revenue: 1088 euros.

Where the calculation stops working

The business could not prove the lost order resulted solely from the accident. Insurance only recognises direct material damage. Wage continuation payments of 720 euros for the lost hours are borne by the company and are not yet included in the sum above.
